As a long time reggae DJ since 1986 and the promoter and producer for the Mid West Reggae Fest since 1992, it has been my hope and dream that reggae will someday have a Hall of Fame to call its own. In the fall of 2011, an exploratory committee was formed and by August 2012 a formal press conference and press release will take place. It is our hope that one day such a facility honoring all of those who have played an important part of reggae music will have a Hall of Fame to celebrate these achievements. Obviously, Jamaica is where this Hall of Fame should one day be located but in the meantime we will be exploring all avenues to make this dream a reality. Stay tuned.
